2025 marks Adams’ 75th anniversary. To celebrate this milestone anniversary, we’ll be highlighting one of our many long-term team members each month and sharing their incredible stories and contributions.
This month, we’re honoring Supply Chain Planner Erin Hereford. Based in Adams’ Kentucky office, Erin joined the Adams Sales team in 2003, drawn to the company by her supervisor’s easy-going style and the company’s family feel. Always willing to pitch in and lend a hand, Erin assumed various purchasing responsibilities in addition to her demanding sales role and eventually transitioned full-time to her current Supply Chain Planner position in 2014.
Twenty-two years in, Erin credits the Adams’ atmosphere for her longevity, saying, “The entire Adams team works so well together. We communicate constantly, truly value and respect each other’s contributions, and are always willing to step up to help each other out. Adams is a very special place to work, and I am proud to be a part of such an amazing company.”
While Erin takes her role seriously and maintains a laser focus on providing top-notch service to Adams’ customers, she appreciates that her team prioritizes having fun, too. The entire team looks forward to company luncheons and other events where they can enjoy each other off the clock.
Says Erin’s direct supervisor, Kevin Buckman, “Erin’s efficiency and efforts have resulted in significant time and cost savings. Working in tandem with both our foreign and domestic vendors, Erin works tirelessly to ensure that Adams offers the lowest prices and fastest delivery times in the industry.”
