Carlsbad, CA (February 20, 2019) — Adams Magnetic Products, LLC. announces the addition of its Carlsbad facility to ISO 9001:2015 Certification.The Carlsbad facility opened in November 2017 and received ISO 9001 certification in December 2018. ISO is an internationally recognized standard that ensures products and services meet the needs of clients through an effective quality management system.
“We are proud to have been awarded ISO 9001:2015 certification at our Carlsbad, CA location,” reports Quality Assurance Manager, Bob Kolpin. “Our decision to work towards ISO 9001 certification demonstrates our commitment to providing high-quality and consistent service to our customers and our ongoing investment in technology, development and processes and procedures.”
To become ISO 9001 compliant, Adams Carlsbad facility underwent an evaluation process that included quality management system integration, a management system documentation review, pre-audit, initial assessment, and clearance of non-conformances. These steps all help to identify deficiencies in the current operation of the quality management system and subsequently, corrective actions are created to eliminate the non-conformances. We are very proud to announce that during our ISO 9001 evaluation process no non-conformances were found nor were there any recommendations made for improvement to our current quality management system.
