Magnets are going soft! Scientists at the University of Michigan and the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems in Germany have developed a soft, metal-free, non-toxic magnetic gel. This carbon-based material has the potential to safely power and guide soft robots; to deliver drugs, medicine, and implants in the human body; and more.
