You might not know this, but April 28th is National Superhero Day. It’s also one week from the release of a certain Marvel(ous) new superhero blockbuster. It’s quite the time for anyone into comic books, costumes and action heroes. But it’s also a great time if you need wide format magnet sheet. That’s because MegaMAG™Dog (aka Adams Magnetic Products) has a little announcement for anyone looking to design large format displays, retail & POP graphics or billboards and signs , but not sure about using magnets. MegaMAG™ Dog has an offer to first try out the magnetic superpowers found in our wide format magnet sheet. But, in keeping with the theme, we thought we’d share the information in the following comic strip.
And they all will be on display at GlobalShop March 23 – 25
The countdown has begun. GlobalShop is just days away, and we’re packing up for three days in Vegas. It actually feels like we’ll be there a month with all the product samples and sales collateral we packed in the booth. From magnetic assemblies and neodymium magnets to flexible magnet and magnetic receptive materials, if you are designing retail or POP displays, booth 4147 is the place to be. Of course, not everyone will be lucky enough to get to GlobalShop. So, we’ll try to bring GlobalShop to you (at least the Adams booth). Here are the top 4 magnet products that will be on display during Globalshop. It’s not quite like being there, but you can still start learning about magnet solutions for your next project.

For most people, when they think of a magnet they think of a simple item that sticks to a refrigerator door, or a clasp that holds a piece of jewelry together. But there is a whole other world of magnets classified for industrial use. In fact, if you look around your home or office you’ll find a wide range of products that were produced or incorporated with an industrial magnet. These include everything from the speakers in your home audio/video system to the sensors in your automobile. Manufacturers have specific requirements on magnet types, sizes, compositions and strength, depending on use. Among the most frequently used industrial magnets are those made from neodymium and samarium cobalt, also known as rare earth magnets, ceramic (ferrite) magnets, electromagnets and alnico magnets.
It’s a moment that comes at almost every trade show. You’ve been on the floor for five or six hours, viewing demonstrations, collecting business cards, and feeling so tired you don’t know if you can take another step. At times like this, you could use a hug. When you feel that need coming on in Las Vegas at SGIA, be sure to stop by the Adams booth (#4206). We’ll be giving out hugs for free.
