Elizabethtown, KY- Adams Magnetic Products Co. has appointed Tony Hull as General Manager of its Permanent Magnets division. Hull was hired to replace recently retired Jack Powell, and will oversee the business' daily operations, including managing international supply chain and steering strategic direction.

"Tony's breadth and depth of experience in sales, engineering and management in the magnet industry makes him the ideal choice for this position," explains COO John Cosmas. "I have every confidence that his presence will strengthen the company and benefit our customers."

Advancing Adams' opportunities for success, Hull will strive to complete ISO certification by March 30th, and will oversee planning of a plant and warehouse expansion in 2012. He will work closely with key accounts to ensure no disruption of service during the expansion.

Prior to joining Adams, Hull served as North American Permanent Magnet Division Manager at VAC Sales USA, where he was responsible for developing strategic marketing plans to create long-term direction into both existing and emerging markets. He acquired years of experience in magnetic circuit design working at Crucible Magnetics, and also worked in the design and implementation of electronic magnetizing systems controls and measuring equipment for Magnetic Instrumentation.  He has a degree in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University.
