 Ceramic Bar Magnets
Ceramic (hard ferrite) bar magnets are among the most economical magnets available, and are commonly used in holding, latches, science projects, toys, games, and crafts, as well as more technical applications such as sensing, actuating, and many others.
Features include:
- Ceramic bar magnets offer economical magnet power for price sensitive applications when you need low cost, good holding strength and great value.
- Ceramic bar magnets are a dark charcoal grey in color, and do not appear metallic.
- Ceramic magnets are not suited for high temperature applications (over 750° F)
- We stock ceramic bar magnets in Grade 5, magnetized through the thickness. Grade 8 is also available by request; that is generally used in more demanding technical applications.
