Technical Sales

Jim Miller collaborates with the Adams’ inside sales and engineering teams to quickly respond to customers in need of flexible magnets, magnet assemblies and devices, and other magnetic materials. He draws from more than 16 years of experience in the magnetic industry.
For his previous employer, Jim served as vice president of sales. He was charged with direct supervision for new business development, production, training, scheduling, purchasing, safety, regulatory compliance, quality control and day-to-day operations.
Before entering the magnet industry, Jim earned a B.S. in hotel and restaurant management from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. He worked in the industry and went on to own and operate restaurants and related ventures. He changed careers in the early 1990s so he could have the time to be more involved in the life of his three young sons. A life-long resident of Rochester, N.Y., he welcomes the opportunity that Adams’ has extended, where by he can remain rooted in Rochester. Although mostly grown and in college, Jim still enjoys having time to hear about his sons’ studies and watch their baseball games.
